Who we are

Project ANT is a Future of Work startup that combines the gig economy business model with the world of edtech. We are a remote-first corporation that has been virtual and global since inception.

Our Work Hypothesis

We believe that a verified user who is given a consistent path to upskill and an avenue to earn more per project will be more motivated and do better work in the freelance projects they conduct. With the right support to grow, they become the ideal freelancer for any company.

Our Team's Proof

Work has become increasingly virtual and project based, with skills being the core determinant for a candidate's success rather than geography, demographic and cultural factors, accessibility, or years of experience. We are extremely proud to state that we’ve proven this hypothesis using our own team's remote structure through the development stages of ANT.

Vision & First Attempt

Areeb, founder of Project ANT, sets out on a mission to make remote work opportunities accessible to university students.

Team Formation

After a year of rejections, our founding team is formed and the story begins.

June 2020
August 2020
Won our first pitch competition

Selected in the top two startups out of a cohort of 20 companies and started acquiring our first beta customers.

Web Summit

Attended the world's largest tech conference.
